WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR EVENT/COOK DATE:
Please make sure your kitchen is available to your Chef at the arrival time of the event or cook date. Have as much counter space cleared off as possible and the sink should be clear of dishes. Have as much refrigerator space cleared as possible. Also, if there is a dishwasher, it would be best to have it emptied prior to the Chef's arrival. There may be a cleaning fee of up to $100.00 applied if the kitchen is not usable and your service may be rescheduled. In the event you are not at home at the time the Chef needs to enter your home to prepare for your event/cook date, please make sure to leave the Chef with detailed instructions on entering your home, as well as a cell phone number at which to reach you. On the day of the event/cook date, your Chef may be reached at Chefchelle@tastesofelation.comor by dialing (205) 202-1619.
Minor menu substitutions may be made as needed due to the availability of seasonal ingredients and/or product quality. Any significant changes will be approved in writing prior to the date of the event. Tastes of Elationor your chef is not responsible for reasonable/accidental wear and tear on kitchen equipment, facilities, or for breakage.
SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Cancellation & Payment Policy for Booking Weekly Meal Personal Chef Services): Upon booking your appointment you will receive an invoice for the cost of personal chef services. The Client has 2 days prior to the scheduled day by 12:00 p.m. to cancel a scheduled day. If you cancel after the
cut-off day and time, a cancellation fee of $60.00 will be charged to you. This is due to the nature of the Personal Chef business and the difficulty of scheduling another client to fill that day. Payment for personal chef services is due 24 hours before scheduled service. If any materials such as groceries or anything else the client may want representatives of Tastes of Elation to purchase for them, it will be reimbursed the same day, with no exceptions. We will provide the receipts of the purchases made for reimbursing.
Should your Chef become ill or have an emergency that may conflict with your scheduled cooking date, you will be contacted you with as much notice as possible. If you would like, we will attempt to make an alternate Chef available for that date. You may decide to use the alternate chef (if available) or reschedule your cooking date with your preferred chef. Should we contact you within 24 hours of your scheduled cooking date and you would like to reschedule, we will provide you with a 10% discount on the services upon rescheduling.
Deposit/Cancellation (For Private Events):
A deposit is required for all private events, a deposit will be set for the amount at 50% of the total estimated price. If you are forced to cancel your event within less than 3 days' notice by 12:00 p.m., then your deposit will be held for the cancellation fee plus cost of goods. If your event is canceled within (1) week of the event a cancellation fee of $250.00 plus cost of goods will be assessed. If any deposit remains after the $250.00 fee plus cost of goods, the rest will be credited back to you.
PAYMENTS:
Event payments must be made directly to Mabe by Chelle B LLC. DBA Tastes of Elationor to Mechelle Slaughter by Cash, Check, Money Order, or Credit Card.
Final Payment is due on the day of the event, once the services have been rendered.
Any amount due that is not paid when due will result in a $25.00 PER DAY late fee added to the full amount due. After seven (7) calendar days Mabe by Chelle B LLC. DBA Tastes of Elation may engage an attorney for collection purposes, or in connection with any bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, whether litigation is commenced, then you shall pay the attorney's fees, expenses, and court costs in addition to the full amount due here under.
This policy is subject to change without notice.
Bookings for private events made within 7 days of will require payment in full upon receipt of invoice. If cancelled no refunds will be provided for cost of goods once purchased plus $250.
Cost of goods defined: Any costs associated with groceries or special items (ex: flowers/decor)

## 1. General Terms
1.1. These terms and conditions govern the provision of ServSafe Manager proctoring and tutoring services.
1.2. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
## 2. Proctoring Services
2.1. Exam Integrity
- All exams must be administered in accordance with ServSafe and National Restaurant Association guidelines
- Proctors will verify candidate identity using government-issued photo identification
- No unauthorized materials or devices are permitted during examination
- Any suspected cheating or misconduct will result in immediate exam termination
2.2. Testing Environment
- Testing location must be quiet, well-lit, and free from distractions
- Candidates must have an unobstructed workspace
- Recording devices are prohibited except as required for exam administration
- Internet connectivity must be maintained throughout online examinations
## 3. Tutoring Services
3.1. Session Format
- Tutoring sessions will focus on ServSafe Manager course content
- Sessions may be conducted in-person or virtually as agreed upon
- Materials provided are for individual use only and may not be reproduced
- Scheduling must be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance
3.2. Payment Terms
- Tutoring fees must be paid in advance of sessions
- Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice will incur full session charge
- No refunds for completed sessions
- Package rates must be used within 90 days of purchase
3.3. Materials and Course Resources
- All purchased materials, including textbooks, exam vouchers, and study guides, are non-refundable
- Digital access codes cannot be refunded once revealed or activated
- Damaged or defective materials must be reported within 48 hours of receipt
- Materials cannot be exchanged or transferred between students
- Purchase of required materials is final and non-negotiable
- Shipping costs for physical materials are non-refundable
## 4. Student Responsibilities
4.1. The student agrees to:
- Arrive punctually for all scheduled sessions
- Complete assigned preparatory work
- Maintain professional conduct
- Communicate scheduling changes promptly
- Use materials in accordance with copyright laws
## 5. Instructor Obligations
5.1. The instructor commits to:
- Maintain current ServSafe certification
- Deliver accurate and up-to-date content
- Provide appropriate study materials
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Adhere to professional standards
## 6. Liability and Disclaimers
6.1. While we strive to prepare students thoroughly, we cannot guarantee:
- Exam passage
- Specific test scores
- Employment outcomes
- Certification maintenance
6.2. The instructor is not liable for:
- Technical difficulties during online sessions
- Changes to ServSafe examination content
- Third-party testing center issues
- Student performance outcomes
## 7. Confidentiality
7.1. We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- Student personal information
- Assessment results
- Payment details
- Educational records
## 8. Termination
8.1. Services may be terminated if:
- Payment obligations are not met
- Professional conduct standards are violated
- ServSafe policies are breached
- False information is provided
## 9. Amendments
9.1. These terms and conditions may be updated periodically
9.2. Students will be notified of significant changes
9.3. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified terms
